Deliveries to EU countries indefinitely suspended

Unfortunately I have had to make the incredibly difficuly decision to cease any deliveries to EU member countries.  This is due to the introduction of a new packaging law which came into force on the 12th August 2026.

The new law requires all companies exporting goods to have a packaging license, plus a representative to file paperwork IN EACH OF THE 27 COUNTRIES - both of these things carry significant costs which add up to thousands of pounds every year.  This simply isn't viable for my business (and many other small businesses).

There may be some small business exemption or relief in the coming weeks/months but until that is finalised I have no choice but to suspend deliveries to comply with the EU laws or risk returned orders, or worse, hefty penaties/fines.

I am incredibly disappointed and saddened by this potentially devastating law passed by the EU which is completely destructive to small businesses - and I apologies to my loyal EU customers who will now not be able to receive my products, at least for the time being.

Are there any exceptions or workarounds?

Sadly there are no exceptions or exemptions for small business that I'm aware of at this time, so this affects all orders no matter what you'd like to purchase.

The only alternative option is if you have a personal (non-business) contact based in the UK (or another non-EU country) who would be prepared to purchase on your behalf and then send the items to you as a gift.  This is a perfectly legitimate way to receive your goods as they are send as a personal package, not business, and therefore are not subject to the same packaging laws.

Please note that any packages sent in this way will still need a full-value customs declaration and customs fees and VAT will still need to be paid on the package (you can get a full invoice of your order once it's been shipped to help with this).

You should also be aware that our contract ends with the UK purchaser and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the order in it's onward journey from the UK.
